Tree relocation at SLU – temporary impact on lighting and noise

The tree relocation project along the Ulls väg at SLU has now begun. As work progresses, certain measures will temporarily affect both students and staff.
To prevent excavation from damaging underground cables, the street lighting will need to be switched off in sections. This means that lighting along the street will be turned off intermittently while the relocation work is carried out.
It has also become clear that the kerbstones are reinforced with 60 centimetres of concrete. This layer must be removed at each tree site, which will result in periods of noisy work in the area.
