An activity box with equipment for activities such as disc golf and free weights has been placed on the campus lawns at Campus Umeå. The pink box is provided by the company Piffl, which has boxes on display in several student cities.
The box is located near the artificial turf pitch, where a disc golf course and an outdoor gym are also nearby. All equipment in the box, such as footballs, can be borrowed free of charge via the Piffl app.
Here's how it works:
- Download the Piffl app from the App Store or Google Play. The QR code for downloading and instructions are also available directly on the box.
- Unlock the box, select an activity, and return the equipment when you are finished.
The initiative is a collaboration between Akademiska Hus and Piffl.
