Brief background
In 2021, we conducted a review of the internal communication at SLU Aqua to see how it functions in everyday work and how it could be improved. The results showed that many things work well, but that there is also room for improvement. Among the suggestions were clearer information from the management team, a more user-friendly staff webpage (easy to find info etc.), a newsletter that strengthens our sense of community and highlights key updates, better access to information in English, and more.
Since 2023, our Communications Officer, Josefine Karlsson, along with the SLU Aqua management team and others, has been working to further develop the internal communication at the department, address the organisation’s needs, and implement some of the suggested improvements from the 2021 review.
With the help of the evaluation we have now completed, we can take another step forward in developing the internal communication at SLU Aqua.
