Warm offices in Ulls hus, Campus Ultuna

We are receiving many reports via the IA system and Service Ull about the indoor climate, and have therefore launched a review.

We are aware of the problem and its recurrence each year as temperatures rise, but there is no simple solution as temperature fluctuations must be weighed against SLU’s high ambitions for saving energy.

Together with Akademiska hus, Service Ull is working comprehensively to find out what can be done to create the most optimal indoor climate possible. However, the Swedish Work Environment Authority accept temporary indoor temperatures of up to 26 degrees during warm summer months. Akademiska hus will review the temperature logs for individual rooms to determine whether temperatures have gone above this limit, and take any measures necessary.
