SLU New as a Research Leader
The course is aimed at those who are new to the leadership role of leading a research group. The course is intended, together with the introduction and guidance you receive from your immediate manager, to prepare you for leading research at SLU. If you have a pronounced managerial role with operational and personnel responsibilities, you are also expected to attend the course SLU Management (SLU C).
SLU New as a Research Leader focuses on leading research processes and the interpersonal aspects of leadership. The course is theoretically grounded in leadership research and psychology.
Target Group
We aim for a course group of 12–20 participants, which means that if we receive fewer than 12 applications, we will need to postpone the course start until the group is large enough.
If you are unsure whether this is the right course for you, please contact us and we will discuss it further.
The course is given in English.
