Gain understanding of how environmentally sustainable dietary feed will effect performance and welfare in monogastric animals and especially in fish. Increase the understanding of bioactive component effects on the animal, tissue and molecular level. Increase the knowledge about interactions between feed host and the commensal microbiota.

Long-term experience of pedagocic administration (director of studies 1996-2002, committee member of "Programnämnden husdjur" and the research school Feed and Food Safety) and teaching.
I have been responsible for several different courses in the field of biochemistry and animal nutrition at various levels. Examples of specific courses; Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Comparative nutrition and I'm also teaching in several others courses within the area of nutrition.
I have also been responsible and teaching in PhD-courses as Principles of Analytical Methods in nutrition and biology. These courses have been performed in Sweden, Lithuania and Vietnam.
