Research

-Current project (2020-2021): Investigate the effect of different precommercial thinning (PCT) strategies on the trade-off between production and fodder availability of a mixed forest in southern Sweden.

Preliminary finding: PCT can be used as a tool to provide fodder for the animal without losing production

Previous projects:

01. Time period (2018-2019): Investigate the effect of different spatial design on the growth and quality of coniferous plantation in Sweden

Key finding: Spatial design has no effect on the growth and quality of coniferous plantation in Sweden with the same area and same stand density.

02. Time period (2019-2020): Investigate the species composition and stand structure of young forests in Sweden.

Key finding: Regeneration failure changed the species composition of young forests in Sweden.
