SLU and Uppsala University are organising the SciFest science festival, which focuses on fun activities and meetings with researchers. The programme reflects research in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and medicine.

The aim of SciFest is to give children and school students the opportunity to discover how much fun science can be, and hopefully plant a seed that will lead young people to become more interested in science and perhaps even become researchers themselves.

The festival is well attended, with around 7,000 visitors each year. On Thursday and Friday, it is open to school classes, and on Saturday, anyone who is interested can come. That includes you! Bring your family and friends to SciFest and see what your colleagues have come up with.
