You are warmly welcome to the next Crop Production Ecology seminar, taking place Tuesday 10 June at 13.00 in the Tammsalen or via Zoom (sign up below to get the link). We will host Professor Kurniatun Hairiah from Brawijaya University, Indonesia.

Where local ecological knowledge, policy designs and science-based analysis align restoration of functions in healthy landscapes is possible. Farmer-led agroforestation can, with external co-investment, transform grass/fern fallows into productive farms. Belowground changes are slower and more complex than aboveground restoration and may involve the water and carbon cycle and earthworm density. Decline and recovery of microbial biomass C and N indicated change in soil health in an assessment of a program in W Sumatra (Indonesia).
