Animal Welfare Science Symposium 2025

Welcome to the 8th Annual Animal Welfare Science Symposium, 26–27 May 2025. The aim of the symposium is to provide a friendly scientific forum for discussion, advancing the broad and multidisciplinary subject of animal welfare. Both natural and social scientists are welcome.

This year’s program will include longer plenary talks by invited speakers, shorter presentations, and group discussions. Participants are encouraged to present preliminary results, fostering an open and constructive dialogue among attendees.

Lynne Sneddon (Professor, Gothenburg University, Sweden)

Sara Hintze (Associate Professor, BOKU University, Vienna, Austria)
Topic: Positive Animal Welfare
