Opening of the exhibition ‘SLU ArtSci: H2O - From source to sea’ in Uppsala

Art meets science in an exhibition where the students and staff of SLU have been invited to explore water. Please join us for the playful opening on 28 April! The exhibition can be viewed throughout the week and closes on 4 May.

Crafts and photographs mix with scientific texts and movies! By combining artistic and scientific perspectives on water we hope to create space for new questions, insights and approaches. The contributions come from staff and students of many different SLU departments.

Programme 28 april

  • 14.00 The exhibition opens with a science marathon, where several researchers share their favourite facts about water! (In Swedish.)
  • 14.30 Klusterkören (The Cluster Choir) sings spring songs.
  • 15.00 Water themed music quiz. (In English.)

You will also have the opportunity to compete in the exciting new sport “throw a small water balloon as far as you can without breaking it”!

The exhibition is arranged by the SLU University Library in collaboration with the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment.
