Profile Page on slu.se – Create/Edit

Last changed: 28 October 2025

It is important that SLU researchers present themselves on the web through a personal profile page. When a researcher presents their project — for example, in a press release or on a webpage — it can be very valuable for the reader to learn more about the researcher’s previous work via a profile page. In a broader context, it is important for SLU to showcase the wide range of expertise available at the university.

In June 2025, we launched a new website, and what was previously called CV pages are now referred to as profile pages. Your previous CV page was not automatically transferred, so you will need to create your new profile page on the new website yourself.

However, CV pages will remain available on the staff web for a transitional period.

Profile Page on the New Website Launched in June 2025

You can create a profile page here. To do so, you need to be connected to SLU’s network, but no special permissions are otherwise required. The profile page replaces the current CV page.

  1. To create your profile page, firstly, make sure you are connected to SLU’s network or logged in via VPN.
  2. Log in, by visiting the page Publish and Edit Content
  3. On that page, click the button link "Create/Edit Profile Page", which leads to your personal profile page.
  4. On that profile page, click the button link "Publish".
  5. To edit your page or create a version in another language, use the links at the bottom of your profile page. Then, you can:
  • Upload a photo, add your title and the appropriate predefined fields. If you leave a field empty, its heading will not be displayed when the page is published.
  • You can also add custom headings at the bottom of the page if you wish.
  • Once you're satisfied, you can publish the page by clicking the button link "Publish".
  • If you need additional images or have other questions about the profile page, talk to your web editor. Contact the web editorial team if you're unsure who that is.
