Registering records

Last changed: 02 January 2018

The SLU archives consist of public records. According to the applicable legislation, we have an obligation to take into account the public's right to consult these records when we organise our records management. In particular, we must make sure that we separate public records with unrestricted access from those with restricted access. Records received by or created at SLU must be registered, and this is usually done in a registry.

Public 360° --  our registry

SLU uses a registry software called Public 360°. It was implemented within the university administration in 2010, and in 2011 the rest of the university f0llowed. All departments and equivalent units are responsible for their own archiving and registry. This means that Public 360 consists of several registry series, which together make up the SLU archives.
