The IT department provides the university with a standard service for information screens since 2026.
Description of the service
PLAYipp digital signage offers a complete solution for displaying current information, news and events on digital screens around SLU's campus.
The service is provided as a rental model by the IT department, AV support, and covers the entire chain from hardware to support and life cycle management.
The aim is to ensure a stable and reliable sign environment, where the business can focus on content and communication while AV support is responsible for the technical platform.
The service includes:
- Project planning
- Default installation
- Screen
- PLAYipp player
- Technical support
- Supplier contacts
- Life cycle management
For 2026, the service will be charged with a monthly cost of SEK 1,184 per installation, where screen and player are included
