Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute

High quality education is an important issue, and we need to ensure and maintain high quality and attractiveness of the teaching in both vocational and general programmes. Safeguarding the long-term environmental monitoring at the faculty, and continuing to provide conditions for cutting edge research will allow research and environmental monitoring to interact in a mutually beneficial manner for each other and the surrounding society.

Personal reflections

For more than 25 years, I have worked in research, environmental monitoring and teaching at SLU. With that background I feel that I have the experience needed to be a candidate for the faculty board. I see the assignment as an opportunity to become more involved in the ongoing development of the faculty to meet society's growing need for the knowledge and the students we produce.
