Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute:
- To provide researchers and teachers with opportunities to develop their research and teaching according to their own ideas
- Recruit employees who are competent teachers and give teachers better conditions for developing existing and new courses
I have many years of experience in research, environmental monitoring and teaching. These areas are equally important and, if possible, I hope to contribute to the development of all three.
Personal reflections
Researchers, teachers and specialists in environmental monitoring and assessment are the ones who know best which activities that can lead to interesting and important insights. The most important task of the management, at all levels, is to facilitate, not to steer.
