Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute:
- Increased internal collaboration and interdisciplinarity are important for today's challenges, including the transition to a sustainable society. I am broad in my academic profile and see good opportunities for collaboration between the departments in research, teaching and between educational programmes.
- It is important to make the faculty's research and teaching visible to the outside world and society. I can contribute with external analysis and contacts with external actors.
- The faculty has unique qualities that should be taken advantage of by SLU. I have deep insights into how SLU works and knowledge of the university's organizational structure.
- · Our campuses (Alnarp and Ultuna) offer a good opportunity for collaboration with the surrounding community. I have good insights into campus planning.
Personal reflections:
We have a good climate of conversation at our faculty that I want to preserve and deepen. We need more meeting places for staff and students for academic discussions. It is important to have anchored decision-making processes among staff and students. SLU's strength lies in diversity, on which the quest for "One SLU" should be based.
