Extended clean-up deadline and upcoming information sessions

Published: 04 February 2026

We are currently preparing the transition to Microsoft 365. As part of this work, email and documents need to be reviewed to ensure that sensitive personal data and confidential information are handled correctly ahead of the migration.

To give the organisation better conditions and more time, the project – with a mandate from the university management – has decided to extend the data clean-up deadline to 1 April 2026. This means that the migration go-live will be postponed, allowing the work to be carried out in a safe, structured and well-planned manner.

It is important to emphasise that the clean-up is not about “finishing everything”, but about start with the most sensitive and high-risk content. Existing guidance and support materials remain valid.

In the coming weeks, the project will also invite you to 3 digital information sessions, starting next week. During these sessions, we will explain the project, what the clean-up involves in practice, clarify how sensitive personal data and confidential information should be handled, and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

Invitations with dates and times will be sent separately and published on the staff web.

Here you will find consolidated information, instructions and support:

Thank you for helping us carry out the transition to Microsoft 365 in a secure and sustainable way!

Chief Operating Officer
