SLUpub is to be replaced by a new system for research publications – launch in May 2026

SLU's publication database, often referred to as SLUpub, consists of several different systems. These will be replaced by the comprehensive Pure solution from Elsevier in May.

The transition primarily will mean a new interface for users who currently register and manage publications in SLUpub. The new system will support the central tasks currently carried out in SLUpub.

The reason for the system change is that the existing system is no longer being developed, and the need for a modern, sustainable, long-term solution. The new system will provide better conditions for secure and stable long-term operation, improved functionality, and a more easily managed platform.

More information about the system change, including the timeline and its implications for different target groups, will be communicated in spring.
