The yearly flu vaccination - 2025

Published: 17 September 2025

From autumn 2025 onwards, seasonal flu vaccinations will be offered to all SLU employees and will be paid for centrally by SLU.

Vaccinations can be carried out by the occupational health services (which invoices SLU) or by the employee visiting a health centre or vaccination agency/similar, and then submitting the receipt in Primulawebb.

Please note that all regions in Sweden offer free flu vaccination to pregnant women, people aged 65 or older and other risk groups, more information is available at the Public Health Agency.

For group orders or orders at the occupational health services for an SLU-employee, please contact your local administrator for more information.

If an employee visits a health centre or vaccination office/similar on their own, a receipt must be registered retrospectively in Primulawebb. The cost is registered under ‘health benifits’ -> ‘health benifits fr 250201’ -> ‘vaccination’.

If possible, vaccination should be carried out in such a way that it has as little impact as possible on workplace activities. It may therefore be advantageous to carry out vaccination before or after normal working hours.

Other vaccinations required for work, for example during business trips, will be paid for as before by the department/equivalent.
