Welcome to another exciting episode of Edutalks.
Åsa Bensch is the Director of Studies for the Landscape Engineering program at SLU in Alnarp and a very committed teacher with long experience.
In this episode, Jan Stockfors talks to Åsa about her work with the Landscape Engineering program, a work that involves a lot of contact with the industry and a close interaction with the students. The conversation also touches on how Åsa works to ensure that the practical course she is responsible for actually becomes a course. At the end of the episode, we get an insight into how she experienced the process of being promoted to excellent teacher, which includes formulating her teaching portfolio and then having her teaching skills assessed by external experts.
