Gustav Hellström
My research is focusing on the behaviour and migration of aquatic species in their natural habitats, encompassing rivers, lakes, and marine environments. A crucial aspect of this research involves employing modern fish tracking methodologies. The majority of my investigations have practical applications, with an emphasis on the management and conservation of various fish species. My research spans a diverse range of species, from the small and cute roach and gobies, to the more formidable Bluefin tuna and Greenland sharks. While a substantial portion of my work is conducted in Sweden, encompassing the Baltic Sea and the Northeast Atlantic Ocean, my research also extends to other parts of the world, including Mongolia, Iceland, and North America
