Hybrid: Barcelona & Online
Would you like to change your career, but do not know how? This free one-day event is designed for recent PhD graduates and current PhD candidates who are looking to explore career opportunities, gain insights into professional paths inside and outside academia, and connect with a vibrant international community. Attendees will grasp the ideas and success stories from former PhDs who discovered that there is another life outside academia. You will hear career stories from PhD alumni, Start-ups, entrepreneurs, project managers and discover support programs, and build networks that can help shape their next steps.
This event is open to all current PhD students and recent graduates, regardless of their institution, area of study, or MSCA affiliation, and aims to present an opportunity to explore professional options for life after the PhD. In case of high demand, priority for in-person registration will be given to MSCA fellows and alumni.
The sessions will be hybrid, and an online registration option is available to those who wish to attend from outside of Barcelona.
The tentative programme for the day includes a talk on what to expect after completing a PhD, a roundtable discussion of success stories after a PhD, and various networking opportunities.
