Mental Health Week at SLU and UU in Uppsala is organised in connection to the annual World Mental Health Day, 10 October, to draw attention to mental health and well-being. During the week, a range of lectures, workshops and interactive activities are offered, mainly in Uppsala/Ultuna (but there will also be two in Lysekil and two on Zoom). For example, in the lower entrance in Ulls Hus, there will be a Mental Health Promotion Poster Session, Co-Creation Space and Photo Exhibition all week, and on Wednesday afternoon, this is expanded with MHW interactive expo booths with various activities. There will be 2 bystander intervention trainings. Klas Bergling from Tim Bergling Foundation and Sanna Linder, a former SLU-student and (H)järnkoll ambassador, will be interviewed. There will be yoga, meditation and mindfulness sessions. And much, much more.
We encourage you to register for two of the activities (Take Care on Monday and the Bystander training on Friday) so that we know how much fika to order. Please do this here: www.slu.se/en/registration-mental-health-week Or just turn up and we share.
At SLU, we are targeting both students and staff.
As a kick-off, we are attaching our Mental Health Week count down calendar.
You can also find more information here, where you also find the complete UU program: https://www.uu.se/en/students/support-and-services/student-health-service/mental-health-week
