New guest researcher to HUV

We welcome David A. Contreras who will be doing a sabbatical year (Feb 2022 – Feb 2023) at our department working together with Sigrid A. and with Carlos H. (on a calf project at Lövsta and STINT foster cow-calf project in Mexico).

David is a lecturer in dairy science and embryology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, UNAM-Mexico. His research interests include dairy science (emphasis on calf rearing), bovine reproduction, and embryology in farm animals.

His hobbies: “I enjoy spending time with my family (2-year-old boy, wife), we like outdoors activities, and whenever I have the opportunity, I like watching movies or series on digital platforms.”

David will have 1 experiment running at Lövsta during 2022 and his office will be in room 53118.
