Planning for research applications

Formas open call is open now and SLF step 1 will soon open. Therefore we have updated and wants to remind you about procedures around the research funding applications.

All applications should be discussed with the respective subject manager, think about which topic that actually applies to your application. To raise the quality of both design and application, you should discuss it with your colleagues.

For all applications, a budget shall be drawn up. Book time with Sture Larsson, who is the Department's project economist, in good time before the deadline. We will help you with salary levels, etc. and to calculate any deviant OH etc.

The applicants are responsible for ensuring that there is a reasonable estimation of the time needed and to calculate the experimental costs, analysis costs, etc. Control your figures whit Lövsta and/or our laboratory. Our research technicians, should be calculated as personnel costs in cases where it is relevant. Be sure to also add the cost of publishing, conferences/travels, ethical permits etc.

For applications in PRISMA you should always add Sara Österman, Sture Larsson and Johan Karlsson as Participating administrators.
