Who is who in the administration

The administrative staff is a support for the entire department. Much of the administrative job is about human resources and economic issues, but it is more varied than that. To make it a little bit clearer, here is a presentation of who is working on what tasks. But it is always possible to contact anyone of us and we will take the question further if we cannot solve it ourselves.

Elin Kamara Jakobsson

Head of administration

  • Financial planning and follow-up for the department, budget, financial statements (HHS)
  • Management support, part of management board (HHS)
  • Working with issues linked to work environment
  • Included in the Building council of the VHC

Gunilla Helmersson

Administrator, research technician

  • Research technician - at Lövsta and VHC
    Normally, the work as an research technician should be prioritized before administrative tasks, but it requires planning in advance from the project manager, since a lot of the trials usually has a detailed timetable.
  • Invoicing (also for SCAW)
  • Handling of invoices in Proceedo (also for SCAW)
  • Record keeping and archiving (also for SCAW)
  • Purchase in Proceedo incl. clothes for study visits and bus transports and refill of the office storage

Johan Karlsson

Economist

  • Financial planning and follow-up for the department, budget, financial statements (also for SCAW)
  • Premises issues in VHC and our dorm room at SUSBO
  • Premises issues-temporary guests/students and operation premises
  • Purchase computer, phones
  • Support procurement
  • Guest Service (access cards, computers, WiFi access)
  • Backup personnel, invoicing and archiving
  • Advertising in Reach Mee
  • Management support, part of management board
  • Working with issues linked to work environment and fire protection
  • Included in the Building council of the VHC

Marianne Lövgren

Human resourses administrator
Generally referred to as Majsan

  • Employment related issues
  • Migration issues
  • Contact person for human resources at SLU
  • Examination of travel and expense bills, hourly fees, etc.
  • Support for registering travel and expense bills
  • Support for travel orders, such as group bookings at Egencia

Marie Högström

Project economist

  • Project budget
  • Project follow-up and reporting, support for financial component and final reporting
  • Manages invoices in Proceedo (also for SCAW)
  • Backup for personnel issues, travel and expense bills

Marie Liljeholm

Communication officer & webmaster

  • Marketing, press releases
  • External website
  • Manages The Inside and Arbetsplatsen (SharePoint)
  • Coordination of Department Report Series
  • Staff Photography, photography and filming (research projects)
  • Support for CV pages

Talin Stepanian

Administrator, hourly employee

  • Handling of invoices in Proceedo (HHS)

  • Record keeping and archiving (HHS)
  • Examination and support for registering travel and expense bills (HHS)

The administration has a common e-mail address huv.administration@slu.se  for all types of issues. You can always submit your issue at that address and we'll sort it out within the group.

Things that should always be sent at that address are:

  • Invoicing information
  • Files and documents for registration (e.g. project applications, contracts, reporting)
  • Requests for travel bookings and other types of orders
