SLU can now offer Microsoft Teams for meetings and sharing of document in smaller groups. Big meeting and lectures is better to do in Zoom.

To get Microsoft Teams you need to register at IT's supportweb:

On the staff web you can find an instruction to get Office 365 / Teams | Medarbetarwebben (slu.se).

What are Teams?

Teams are part of Office 365 and it is the new collaboration and communication solution from Microsoft. It includes video conferencing, chat, persistent group chat, file storage and the opportunity to work virtually differently working groups, so-called teams.
Teams can be used in the business eg. for working groups and projects. However, it is not intended for education where SLU has other tools, e.g. Zoom.
Teams is a cloud service so that means of course that sensitive personal data and confidential material as well as data on law violations cannot be stored there or handled in constant chats.
As soon as we have more information we will send it out.

You can see an introduction video at Youtube.
