Note!
• The alarm is intended for emergencies, where there is danger to life and health.
• The device needs to be charged daily.
• The device needs to be outdoors to update its satellite position.
• The unit is always in sharp operation at the alarm center!
Manual alarm
When you press the alarm button, the device vibrates (once).
When the alarm center's system has understood that the unit is sounding the alarm, it vibrates again (twice), after a while the operator listens to you (several vibrations) and you can make oral contact via the unit.
The operator will try to talk to you to check your status. In case the operator stays silent after the contact signal (several vibrations), say “alarm centre, can you hear me?” to start a conversation and to inform the operator of the situation.
Simultaneously as the operator is listening to you, another operator follows the current instructions.
Important information that the operator needs:
- Where are you? Street address, city, place, signage, customer.
(so that the operator can verify that the GPS position shows the correct address).
- What has happened? Number of injured, involved, current situation (so that the operator can clarify what efforts are required).
False alarm
If you accidentally trigger the alarm, tell the alarm unit that it is a false alarm, then call the alarm center (08 - 737 15 11) and enter your unit's alarm number and authorization code (make sure to get it from Johan before you use the alarm unit).
Man down
Start/Stop Man down
The function is started by holding down the function button with an hourglass for ten seconds.
If the unit is in a horizontal position for 25 seconds, the unit beeps, after another 25 seconds the alarm is sent. Turn off the function by connecting the device to a charger or by holding down the function button with the hourglass for ten seconds.
GPS status: Flashes red when the function is switched on.
