Guest researcher programme in economics and business administration

Last changed: 13 June 2019

SLU announces funding for two guest researchers per year, to promote the strategically important field of economics and business administration.

Within the guest researcher programme, decided by the vice-chancellor in May 2018, researchers at SLU can host colleagues from other universities in Sweden or abroad with funding provided by SLU.

The programme is directed at researchers/teachers in economics and business administration, which is one of four designated subject areas the university will focus on during the strategy period.

A call for proposal will be issued each year during the period of 2018-2020.

Time scope: The programme enables guest researchers/teachers to spend short periods at SLU (one to two months per year) over a period of three years.

Economic scope: Guest researchers/teachers will receive funding to cover their salary, travel expenses and accommodation, as well as for visits to SLU's regional centres and for a fellow member of their team to visit SLU ("tag-along"; see the guidelines for further details).

Who can nominate: researchers/teachers at SLU after approval of the head of department. Joint applications can also be made by researchers at two or more departments.

Last date for application: 27 September 2019 for a position starting during the academic year of 2019/2020.
