Prisma is a joint portal for the research councils Formas, Forte and the Swedish Research Council (VR). From 2020 Prisma is also used by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and by the Swedish National Space Agency.

Shared co-funding has from 2019-06-25 been replaced by central and three-part co-funding (link below). The text about shared co-funding below will stay on this page as long as there are ongoing errands within shared co-funding.

The possibility of shared co-funding is only for the SLU-part of of a project, and not valid for co-funding need with project partners at other organisations.
After controlling fulfillment of the compulsory demands, the faculty evaluates based on the following criteria:
The evaluation does not include quality rating of the project, as such rating is carried out by the funder.
The research officers at the faculty offices and at the division of planning are responsible for the administration of shared co-funding. The administration consists of pre-application and application.
The head of main applicant department shall send a pre-application by e-mail to the research officer at the faculty office. Use Shared co-funding as mail subject. The pre-application must be sent latest two weeks before advance notification (see below) is desired, and before deadline for application. The pre-application must include:

To realize shared co-funding an application is also needed. This is valid for by funding body accepted projects, which have been given advan advance notification according to point 1 or 2 above. The head of main applicant department shall in these cases, latest two weeks after external funding has been granted apply for shared co-funding by e-mail to the research officer at the faculty office.
