The mission of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Swedish EPA) offers funding for environmental research that is relevant to Sweden’s environmental quality objectives, the Environmental Code, and international negotiations. The Swedish EPA also distributes grants to wildlife research and for leading-edge technologies and innovative solutions in urban environments. Applications for research funds are only accepted during the current call for applications. Decisions to grant applications are made by the Director-General of the Swedish EPA, who is advised by an Environmental Research Council.
