Prisma is the system used by Formas, Forte and the Swedish research council (VR) for administration of research apllications and grants. From 2020 the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish National Space Agency are also using Prisma.
To be able to apply for funding from one of the Prisma funders you must create a personal account in Prisma. This is valid both for applicants (project leader) and participating researchers. On your personal account you register CV and list of publications.
Besides participating researchers the applicant can invite participating administrators to her/his application, the purpose is for the invited to be able to support with checking or filling out parts of the application form (e.g. budget). A participating administrator also needs a personal account in Prisma, but not CV and list of publications.
To create a personal account in Prisma
You register your personal account in Prisma. On the Prisma-page there is the button Create personal account high to the right. Behind that button you have the choice Create personal account with SWAMID. SLU is connected to SWAMID. The advantage with SWAMID is that you will use your SLU AD log in also for Prisma (except the first time, see below). If you create a personal account without SWAMID you always need a separate user and password for Prisma.
The creation of a personal account is finished off by you receiving an e-mail from email@example.com with subject Ett konto har skapats/Account created. In that e-mail there is an Activation link, you must click on that link to be able to use your personal account.
When you log in for the first time after clicking on the activation link you must do that with the log in information in the e-mail. After that you can log in with your SLU AD via SWAMID.
