On roll-call day 30 August, staff from the Division of Educational Affairs will be present on campus to help the new students find their rooms.
To prevent the spread of the virus, there are restrictions for the number of people who may be present in a room. This means that some programmes will need to be split over several rooms. As programme directors of studies, you will need to enlist the help of assistant programme directors of studies, department directors of studies or others to make sure you can welcome students in more than one room.
Do not mention a specific room in your welcome letters, instead refer students to the new student pages. This makes things easier should we need to change something.
On roll-call day, programme directors of studies and other staff receiving the students must be present in good time and refer students to the next room once the first one is full.
Students who cannot attend roll-call
Attending roll-call is compulsory for all newly admitted programme students. Exceptions are possible if a student has special reasons for not attending. Students who cannot attend and have special reasons must inform SLU of this by emailing email@example.com no later than 09.00 on 30 August.
