About SLUSS PhD Student Council

SLUSS PhD Student Council acts as a coordinating body for the SLU student unions' PhD student councils, SLUSS and the PhD Student Commissioner.
The council's board considers issues relating to research, PhD education and other questions affecting PhD students at SLU.
SLUSS PhD Student Council monitors the interests of PhD students through representatives in the SLU Board, and other university common committees and councils. SLUSS PhD Student Council also responds to referrals relating to the PhD education and, via representatives of national and international bodies, exchanges information and cooperates with representatives for PhD students from other universities.
You are as a PhD student always welcome to contact SLUSS PhD Council, or your faculty specific PhD student council, if you are interested in participating in its activities.

Getting engaged in a PhD Council is not just good fun, it will also give you valuable insights into the activities of the university and your PhD studies, it will boost your CV, and provide your with valuable generic skills.
