Information about Campus Plan Ultuna

The work to establish a campus development plan for Ultuna by 2040 has almost progressed as expected.

Here you can find the plan. It's in Swedish.
The comment period is now closed and a decision on the plan is expected in September.
Timetable
These are some of the milestones for developing the campus plan:
2023
September: Preliminary presentation of the campus plan to SLU's new board before it is decides by SLU (rector's decision) and Akademiska Hus.
June: The plan is supplemented with some additional images and text descriptions.
April-May: Feedback from the comment period is incorporated into the plan.
March: The extended comment period concluded
2022
December: Feedback collected during the comment period were to be integrated into the plan.
28 November: Report from the comment period, steering group meeting.
18 November: The comment period was scheduled to end - but upon the request of Uppsala municipality, the period was extended until March 2023.
16 November: The campus plan will be presented at an information meeting for staff, students and interested parties.
27 October: Steering group meeting.
12 October: Plan made available to staff, students and interested parties.
28 September: Campus plan presented to the SLU Board.
The campus plan is then decided by SLU and Akademiska Hus. As stated above, the decision is expected in March.
