Since 2003, all government employees are covered by the state partial pension agreement. The agreement makes it possible for government employees to slow down before retiring. For the employer, it is a tool for competence transfer during generation change.
The following applies at SLU:
- Employees aged between 61 and 63 may be granted partial pension for specific reasons, e.g. if the amount of employees becomes supernumerous or if an employee is not able to perform certain tasks physically.
- Employees aged 63 and older may be granted partial pension if the work situation allows it. Partial pension should also support the conversion process at the university, e.g. competence transfer.
